Schools and Education Estates
Include boiler plant, kitchen appliances and any linked ventilation controls within the brief where relevant. Identify term-time access, occupancy and the services that must remain operational during a visit.
For scheduled appliance maintenance, see the boiler servicing page.
Healthcare Buildings
State the operational priorities set by the estate team and the restrictions that affect access. Describe the building services without including patient information or confidential clinical records.
Councils and Leisure Centres
Heating and hot water demand may differ across offices, sports facilities and changing areas. Identify opening hours, busy periods and any works programme that affects the plant.
The plant room page covers connected-system scope and the coordination of shutdowns.
Hospitality and Commercial Kitchens
Describe the cooking appliances, fuel and ventilation equipment, including existing interlocks or detectors. A fault that prevents kitchen operation should be distinguished from a planned appliance or canopy change.
Our interlock and detection page explains the different control functions and the information needed for assessment.
Housing and Commercial Property
For shared plant or multi-let premises, identify the services supplied, access arrangements and the person commissioning the work. Explain which occupiers are affected by the proposed visit.
Specify the appliances and intended work so the relevant gas and appliance qualifications can be checked. Do not assume a single certificate type or maintenance rule applies to every property.
Discuss Your Building
Discuss how the proposed work fits your building’s use with Commercial Gas Belfast.
